really worried about this

Hi everyone,

The past couple of weeks I have had cystitis which I'm prone to. The past couple of days it's started to ease off but i'm worried it's turning into an upper UTI! cause the past couple of days I have had cold like symptoms but so has my partner.

I ust wanted some advice as I'm really worried :(

If you both have cold like symptoms it's probably just that. A UTI is easily diagnosed and treatable. If they persist or get worse then go to your doctor.

Having suffered from quite a lot of UTI's I think if the symptoms are starting to ease then you don't need to worry.

When the infection is upper tract (which fortunately I've never had) by all accounts you are really poorly, back/side pain, high temperature, chills, vomitting etc and I honestly think you would know because your symptoms would increase not be easing.

I really wouldn't worry if you start to feel really poorly then go to the doctors as you might just need some antibiotics.
