Wait to hear or ring for results??

I had my smear test done recently and I'm so scared of the results coming back abnormal my friend died of cervical cancer at just 35 years old and I dreamt that at 35 I was going to die of it and I'm 35 now I'm so scared but I daren't ring for the results I don't know if I should just wait for a letter or to ring n see if they are back they said around 2 weeks n it's been 10 days so they could be back I suppose

Yes normally you would have a letter but if you are so anxious phone your GP and have talk to the nurse - if they are back I am sure she will give you the results.

This is one of my major anxietys and I have had previous bad results I am currently waiting for some results now , in my experience if something abnormal comes up u get your letter sooner, I am sure you will be fine have you had abnormal results in the past ?
