Hello all!
I am 42, in great shape (ran the last 11 NYC marathons) don't smoke, perfect BP, never a day in the hospital (knock on wood) but I have been a drinker for about 20 years.
Recently, I have had minor and sporadic itching, flaky scalp, dry mouth, and mucus production while running.
I have no other symptoms, but I have convinced myself that cirrhosis is near.
I have not seen an MD yet, but stopped drinking 7 weeks ago due to pure irrational fear, the GREAT motivator.
Anyone ever have similar symptoms? Or concerns?
I also have allergies and am on allegra and two steroidal nasal sprays.
I am a good weight and eat very well with a decade long of supplement and vitamin use.
I hate being a hypochondriac. Frightening stuff. Poor thoughts.
