Deaf still!

Well its been a week and i have taken all of my antibiotics and im still a bit deaf!
Should i give them more time to work all go back to my doc this week?
I can hear better than i could last week, but still have a noise in my ear and am still having trouble hearing everyone.xxxx

Hi Two Heads, if I were you I would go back to see your dr, he may offer you another type of antibiotic first before referring you to an ENT specialist.

I would agree, go back to GP and tell them you are still having problems, it maybe that the antibiotics were not quite the right ones.

yes I would go back to the docs. Ask to be referred to an ENT. It may clear up in the mean time but it would still be a good idea to get checked out.

After 3 sets of antibiotics with no luck, I saw the ENT last week and after some tests, it turns out I have unequal pressure in my ears - something quite simple but easily fixed. The doctors really only have limited knowledge so best get yourself off to a specialist. They know their stuff
