Biting / Chewing

Hey everyone,

OK, this is a bit of a strange one, but does anybody have the urge to nibble/chew/bite on their hand? I mainly get it if I'm triggered by the thought of chewing and especially the thought of any material in a persons mouth. Material meaning something soft, like fabric, string and rope. Eurggh, it makes me cringe so bad and I have to chew on my hand, sometimes biting hard to cause teeth marks.

mm im not 100% sure on this one but i never bitten my nails only the side of my fingers on the edge of the nails got to get out of it quik tho as my fingers were starting to go flat

:D Haha. Tasty. I think my left hand would make a perfect starter or excellent finger food at a buffet. :)

It's just something I do that I haven't even noticed myself doing until recently even though I've done it for years. I've also only just found out that I grind my teeth too, maybe they're linked. Another question to ask my pdoc I guess.
