sore upper arm worrying

Okay so I noticed last night that behind my upper arm (tricep area - above armpit when arms are lifted) feels really sore and tender.. I have been feeling for a lump (swollen lymph node) but it is not in the arm pit area it is about 5 cm above it! and it doesnt feel like a swollen node more like a bruised area....
I havent fell or hit my arm either :s
Brain doing overtime! any suggestions

Try not to worry. I have all sorts of aches & pains that I cant explain. Because we are anxious by nature,we focus on things too much sometimes. You cant feel a lump so it is likely to be a strain or something. It is possible to pull things,strain things without realising it. The more you focus on it the more you will notice it. Easier said than done I know!I'm sure after a few days,the pain witll disappear. You will suddenly realise you havent thought about it for a while & will notice it has disappeared. This is what happens with me.Hope it feels better soon & I'm sure its nothing to worry about :)
