Hello all. I've requested a CBT referral from my doctor, and I'm looking forward to getting started as I feel (hoping) it will be really helpful. I'm simply wondering if there is anyone out there that followed through with 'homework' etc. but did not have any improvements.

I'd also be happy to hear from people who have completed CBT, and have any advice on what I can expect? Or those have now been cured of their SA...

Thank you :yesyes:

I had CBT for my SA some years ago and I did follow through with the 'homework', I was not 'cured', but I did venture out into the world more and kept facing my fears.

I have had 4 courses of CBT for my agoraphobia over the years and carried out all the homework, but I never really made any progress. Doesn't mean it won't work for you though.

I really do wish you the best. I hope that your CBT goes well, as I haven't done so before. Good luck
