Is this just part of having reflux?

I have that thing where food and acid will come back up my throat.
Then today I drank tea, and I'm having a lot of pressure in my throat, um best described like when a burp gets stuck.
I actually do think I need to burp, but when I try all the liquid in my tummy comes back up with a little wind/burp after it.
It's really frustrating!
But it would be nice to know if it's common or normal when you have relux :)

Yes that is normal with acid indigestion/reflux.

The word reflux means to flow back which is why it comes up to the mouth

Yeah that's normal. I have it sometimes where it burns my throat as my stomach acid is so strong.

Have you told the doctor about this, or do you only have acid reflux occasionally? Everyone gets it from time to time and find that certain foods may aggravate their stomach acid more than others. I have it no matter what I eat so I'm on medication for it, which controls my stomach acid really well :)
