Doctors Day Book??!

I had my thyroid and liver tests back today, and called up first thing this morning (as we do :doh:)

The thyroid test was fine, but the liver one has gone into the doctors day book? So they cant tell me whats going on. I am freaking out convinced I am gonna get called in now. Has anyone else experienced results going into this dreaded day book, and have they turned out fine? This worrier needs some reassurance!!

I have never heard of a day book to be honest but I am sure it won't be anything serious.

I would imagine the "daybook" is another term for "in tray". The results will probably need to checked/signed off by the doctor before his secretary/receptionist can give them to you.

I had a similar thing with my fasting glucose on my last blood tests and it was nothing to worry about. :)
