New lump in neck

I was just rubbing my hands on my neck and found a new lump there. It's about the size of a large pea and a little painful but not much. It looks like it's sitting pretty much right next to C6 or C7.

Not really sure what to do about it. I am meant to be going on holiday tomorrow which is already making me very anxious.

I have one which is the same size large pea but painless a bit above my collarbone, first noticed it almost a year ago now. Had it looked at they said it was a lymph node. I kept thinking it was lymphoma or something scared the hell out of me.

Had blood tests and everything came back normal. The node/lump is still there and hasn't grown in size, I'm sure if it were anything sinister it would have grown by now? :)

C6 and C7 are cevical vertebrae (roughly speaking discs of the spine) located a little below the shoulder line near to the height of the collar bone. So there.

My pea sized lumps are lymph nodes I think.
I have two on my neck that come and go.
They feel hard n unmovable.
I've got other lumps n bumps tho on the front of my neck, they aren't even on each side.
Doctors don't seem to know what they are.
I might ask next time if they are maybe meant to be there :/
