Need help understanding my doctor's certificate

I've been signed off work for the week due to my anxiety and to give me time to get over the side effects of citalopram.

The certificate says I'm not fit for work from "13/08/12 to 20/08/12". The 20th of August is a Monday, so does this mean I go back to work on the Monday or am I supposed to have the Monday off and go back on the Tuesday?

This is the first time I've ever been signed off sick by a doctor, so I don't fully understand how it works.

That should mean you go back to work next Monday unless you still feel unwell then go back to your doctor for another note.

Thanks for that. I thought it probably would mean going back to work on Monday, as it would seem a bit weird going back on a Tuesday.
