Sertraline issues

I am on day 7 of sertraline and feeling awful, especially in the mornings. I wake up and feel so panicky and shaky also a bit sick, feeling tired also. Is this the sertraline and will it get better if it is?

defo to be expected- unfortunately it can be a rough ride - i went through it with sertraline and others - for me it went on for 4-6 weeks - sorry but it can take a long time- I think "we" should be better warned re this by the professionals that prescibe - I think it explains why some people consider /commit suicide when starting new meds- hence the Black Box warings etc but the people dishing these out don't seem to know (most wont have been there) just how bad it can be. I have been closer to suicide when starting a new different AD recently than any other time in my life- including planning - settling affairs - really serious. Anyway that's a bit off the track- bascially it can be really bad and last weeks BUT it does get better- sorry you are going through this
