I used to be very overweight (23st) and would hold my breath to look slimmer. I am now 13 stone but still have the breath holding thing and its become worse. I now seem to do it subconciously which obviously can cause anxiety and trigger panic. Any tips?

Well done on loosing all that weight!

Well, it just seems like you've developed a habit of holding your breath. Why don't you try and make yourself do deep breathing consciously, and eventually train yourself to use that as a habit instead?
