Hi Everyone,
Never knew such boards existed online, they're usually of fans of something aren't they? Nice to have found it anyway.
I'm Ricky of Newcastle Upon Tyne, 28 years old. I've suffered with anxiety for around 13 years I think. Not to go into too much detail this early, but as a result of PTSD, anxiety and deppresion came about as a result. This dogged me through most of my teenage life and beyond. But it was only until about 5 years back I decided to do something about it. Subsequently I've been to see counsellors, mental health nurses, psychotherapists & prescribed medication.
I've found answers, understanding & knowledge to the condition, which has gained me some solace & the ability to deal with it how best I can. In recent months however, I've began to experience anxiety attacks again, which spark off the bouts of depression. Though not as bad as previous panic attacks, I am vulnerable and avoid certain situations. I'm still as of yet undecided what to do.
But I hope some insight can be shared & compared, thank you!
