Anyone else find when they take diazepam, 5mg, they have a hang over? Is that normal?

It may be that 5 is too much for you. I used to take 1mg and that was enough for me
I have taken 5mg tabs and had no problems at all. Nicola may be right, just might be too much for you. Maybe you could half it and see how you feel on 2.5mg?
Kitti :)
Cheers Nicola and Kitti. I normally break the 5mg tablets into quarters and take a bit at a time. I generally only take half in total over the day but I did take 5mg yesterday plus my sleeping pill.
Ahhh...that would probably explain the hungover feeling then :) lol...
I can take up to 12 of my ridiculously low dose 2mg Diazepam without feeling any hangover, they don't seem to have much effect on me at all, next time I see my psychiatrist if he doesn't up the dose or at least prescribe more I'll ask to try something else, probably Xanax.
I get a hangover effect just from taking a 2mg tablet.
Problem is now that 2mg isnt enough sometimes, so i need to take more.
For instance, tomorrow i have a dentist appointment and i'm having a tooth extracted.
2mg just wont be enough to calm me down, so i will be taking 4mg (on doctors orders).
Ive had 2x 2.5mg over the course of this morning and i now have a headache, could it be linked to the diaz?

I have personally never had a headache from diaz. I took 5mg before my Ven this morning and have just taken another 4mg....apart from the headache, did they help? Kitti :)

Yes they helped, my heart was pounding before i took them.
Im just taking them as and when i need them.
Had another head ache yesterday? Not sure if it's from the Diaz or the Ven? I guess it could be either or not even related?
