Anybody else experience this? My birthday is September 4th and my sister and dad have started to ask me what I want to do, what I want, etc. I just want to forget my birthday. I am scared of getting older and dying, but I am also sad because it is the second birthday I have had since my mom died. I think birthdays are just as much about us as they are about the people who gave birth to us ...
I wonder if I would offend my family if I told them I did not want to do anything on my birthday ... they are planning a barbeque.
As it gets closer, I am getting depressed and anxious at the same time. I just want to skip over it.
Any similar feelings?
