Hi guys. I've recently noticed that my leg looks swollen at one side. Ive asked other people if they notice anything different and they have all noticed it. I even measured it with a tape measure and it was an inch wider then the other leg. I went to the doctor today and he at first said he could notice it, but then he measured it himself with a tape measure and it came up the same size. So he told me there was nothing wrong. But now I'm absolutely terrified. Because I know I am not imagining it and no matter what the doctor says it is larger. I measured it again when I got home and it came up an inch bigger again. The trouble is when Im feeling worried about something like this Im always really afraid to be alone and than something will happen, like I will have a heart attack or something. And knowing that swelling and pain in your calf can be deep vein thrombosis and that can cause pulmonary embolism im even more scared to be alone.
