just prescribed this ... what to expect?

I was just prescribed lexapro for depression and anxiety ... 10 mg a day and back to the doctor in a month to assess how it's working. What should I expect? I'm nervous about gaining weight, as I am getting married in the spring ... also nervous about panic or shakiness or whatever. How long should I feel side effects for?

Please any advice would be great.
