Lyrica for anxiety?

I was just looking through some older threads on here, and read about a girl who'd tried the epilepsy drug Lyrica as a means of reducing anxiety/panic, and she said it had worked really well for her. Has anyone else tried this drug, and has it worked for them? What are the details, ie. dosage, effects...
