Just wondered if anyone had tried a magnesium supplement to help with heart palps or flutters. Someone recently suggested to me that it can help but not tried it yet. Always a bit wary of taking any new tablet etc... but will try anything that helps. K x

YES!!
It worked wonders for me.. I had palpitations and an arthmea last year, and when I went onto a Mg supplement (natural calm) things were quickly normalised.
This obviously works only if you have a Mg deficiency in the first place... which a blood test can determine.
I still get anxiety, but the old ticker is working fine!!

I can also confirm. Thumpy heart went away after supplementing with Magnesium. It wasn't racing, but always thumping. I'd like to point out - a blood test will not often show magnesium deficiency as only about 1% shows up in the blood. Most people are deficient if you drink alcohol, tea, coffee, smoke, use any diuretics, are stressed, are diabetic, eat processed foods, sugar etc. There's no harm in trying a supplement.
