citalopram to venlefexine,straight swap! ne advice please??

hi,
been on cit for bout 3 years,sorted out my health anx,but never really got rid of my depression,been to new doc(hes lovely)said that cit obviously wasnt doing what its meant to be doing for me after all this time.
neway ive got to do a straight swap to venlafexine 37.5 twicce a day, im scared to say the least!!! ne good news on ths? lifes bad enough at the mo xx

Sorry I no experience of Ven, you may get a quicker response if you post this question on the Venlafexine - good stories please thread, there are lots of regular posters on there many of whom have been on Cit and then Ven.
