Hello everyone.
I am 50 years old and recently started getting anxiety and panic attacks. I am on HRT as thought to be hormonal related but early days on this.
I tried prozac in July and didn't get past 7 days, massive anxiety overload, no sleep, no appiete , mind wouldn't switch off so walking zombie. Agreed to stop and returned to 'normal' within a few days with a good spell.
I have crashed again and have been given 37.5 venlafaxine to start for a week then upping to 75 after a week.
What is the difference between these 2 drugs that I may not experience the same awful side effects. I thought they are both SSRIs?
Any advise would be fantastic because at the moment I don't feel I can take them.
