Hi there the last few weeks I have had bleeding when passing movements and in the movement. I went to GP today and she recommended an urgent colonoscopy within 2-4 weeks and I have to have bloods done on wednesday. Really stressed out about it I dont know what the rush is. Also really freaked out about the procedure itself she says I can have sedation and I had an endoscopy with it but I still fear something will go wrong with the sedation. Anyone had a colonoscopy before? Also I am worried of course it is cancer

she never mentioned colonscopy until after she had examined me she said its not piles or a fissure it is higher up
