Sore eye lids

My eye lids are sore, close to the lash line, there's a redish line there.
I haven't woren any eyeshadow or makeup on my eyes in weeks.
Also my eyes feel a bit dry and sticky too.

Is there any way I can treat this at home? would warm salt water be ok to use on my eyelids?
I assume it's some kind of infection, I never wash my eyes as I hate getting water in them so maybe it's caused by not keeping them clean?

I have used baby oil and water on a cotton pad in the past to remove eye shadow. But I never actually wash my eye lol

Any advice would be good, as long as it doesn't worse..... I won't be too worried :)

I used to get styes a lot, if it is a stye I would treat it with a warm wet washcloth a few times a day until it goes away ... can take a few days to a week or so. If it sticks around, they have an ointment you can put on it too but usually self-treating works.

it's more the skin it's self on the eyelid is sore, But I will try gently cleaning the area in the morning and again before bed.

[miss diagnosis]

could be hay fever. its very warm and polleny out.
always makes my eyes sting.try an anti histamine maybe?
