View Full Version : New here needing Advice re Sertraline.

Hi. I've been on 50mg Of sertraline for three weeks now. At first I could feel it working but now I feel back to square one. I'm taking it for health anxiety and depression brought on by two bereavements and a period of mild Ill health.

Please any advice would be appreciated as I can't get to see doc til Tuesday.

Is it still early days? Is there till a chance it will work?

I feel so down I don't know where to turn

In same boat. Three weeks and gone backwards.

At docs tomorrow. Probably going up to 100mg as 50mg only therapeutic.

Good luck to you too....let me know what doc says tomorrow. I'm hoping for an increase next week but also hoping side effects are not as bad as at the start.

3rd day of new 100mg dose, been OK, not as many side effects as yet but horrid headaches :(

1st day of 100mg (was on 50mg but only for 1 week). Feel very sick, a bit spaced out, mild headaches, sweating (yuk!). But...... no panic or anxiety. Wish I could fast forward 4 weeks and by pass side effects :)

I've had the shakes today but not as bad a headache - day 4 of 100mg :(

Went back to docs. Kept on 50mg. Feeling much better today :)

hi, my wife is on 100mg of sertraline to help with M.E and she still suffers with the headaches and thirst as well as mood swings however they have helped with everything else so i guess its pros and cons but keep us updated :) glad you are feeling abit better
