scaleaway

at work today was working on a machine that packed scaleaway
its citric acid but in powder
on packet it says if swallowed seek medical advice
anyway i got near it and it made me cough like hell
and i got a bit in mouth during the day when my not so lovely supervisor was slightly careless about a ripped pack
now im scared
my throat feels a bit funny but cant explain it

I have asked my daughter as she is a pharmacologist. She said she works with the main ingredient in this most days and you would have to ingest or inhale a large amount for it to harm you. If your throat feels funny drink plenty of water tonight but if it was going to affect you you would have been showing more reactions by now. Rinse your mouth out well, then drink a glass of water. I don't think you would have got enough in your mouth to cause any real problems and you would have reacted more badly by now if you had. :hugs:
