Cutting a long story short. I was eating me dinner a little while ago and some potato tasted absolutely foul and bitter, ran in the kitchen and spat it out. My mouth is still burning. What on earth could it have been? It was them potatoes that you're supposed to microwave but I always put them in the oven, have them quite a lot so they're not new to me.

OMG my mouth and tongue are burning. Seriously I am not imaging and am very very worried. Got a stomach ache straight after and had diarrhea:wacko::wacko:

Well if I'm not on here 2moro, you'll know why!:shrug: Feel sick too!!

It could have been a high amount of pesticides.

Potatoes are known to absorb soil pesticides and are usually the more "harmful" foods to eat when it comes to non-organic.

Solanine was the second thing I was thinking about but solanine shows up green in potatoes as in other plants in the nightshade family. So if you did notice this it could be the culprit.

Solanine is generally harmless in low amounts but does have a negative effect on the human body when consumed.
So remember throw out all green potatoes.:yesyes:

Hope you're feeling better.
