I don't normally worry about my heart, my anxiety hasn't participially focused on it, however I've been having fluttering and thudding for around 30 minutes now. I don't have any particular chest pain or any other abnormal pains and I don't feel that physically anxious but concerned.

I know it's normal with anxiety and I do smoke and do drink coffee. I had an EKG around a year and a half ago and that was normal.

Not really sure what I should do.

Caffeine is bad for palpitations so try and ditch that altogether.

I called NHS Direct and they said the usual sort of stuff, if they carry on then call the GP tomorrow but any other worry symptoms occur as well then call 999. I just remembered that when im bloated I get palps so its most likely just that. Cheers for the replies guys :)

edit: its f**king typical as well, for the first time in weeks I felt relaxed and then this!
