Maybe you already know which foods help the mind, anyway here's an interesting link - it's in Italian but has pictures :)

http://www.ok-salute.it/alimentazione-e-diete/11_g_cibi-antistress.shtml

Anyway, here is the list with a shortened explanation:

pear - vitamin b and c
banana - tryptophan and potassium
salmon - omega 3
milk - peptides
water - good against cortisol
red fruits - against nervous hunger
tomatoes - vitamin c and lycopene for the brain
oranges - vitamin c
nuts, hazelnuts and co - vitamin e, magnesium and more (nuts also rich in tryptophan)
bread and pasta - better prefer whole grains though!
lentils and chickpeas - magnesium - they're also detoxing
tangerines - helps you sleep
avocados - serotonin
chestnuts - great against tiredness
broad beans - L dopa, makes us feel good
turkey - tryptophan
oat - contains vitexin, which is relaxing
celery - potassium - it's also hypotensive
yoghurt - serotonin
lettuce - mildly sedative
black tea - good against cortisol

That's really interesting, i actually spoke with a nutritionist i'm thinking of working with earlier today to help my anxiety naturally through food and she mentioned a few of these things.

Have you found it really helps?

Reducing simple sugars + eating more vegs + eating antistress foods, yes, it helps :)
