Hi Trev. I will not give my personal opinion of doctors that i have experienced over the last 18 years, BUT, whenever any of my family have had minor probs (as you have) they have been dealt with adequately. I firstly always try to deal with things at home, then the chemist? last resort doctors, thank goodness i have a healthy bunch. If the cream doesn;t work (which it should) maybe anti-biotics will follow, it a simple infection, my daughter had similar recently and all is well now. I do, however, believe 'just by looking' they know what they are talking about. They do see it every day, so to speak. Wow, a simple yes or no would have done there Trev eh? xxx

Hi

Yes I do, for 2 reasons really.

Firstly and as has already been mentioned the doctor will have seen many examples of just about all types of condition. And secondly because of the compensation culture we live in nowadays, which may or may not be a good thing, means that if there is any doubt the doctor will make a referral so as not be sued at a later date.

Hope this helps and get well soon.
