hi guys first post in a while as ive been doing ok up until my new obssesion with cholesterol causing heart problems. So i had mine checked by my gp.when i went back for the results his words were "your total cholesterol is 2.1 but im not going to bother explaining it to you as you never take in what i say anyway".So i guess what im asking is can anyone shed any light on wether this result is to high to low or ok many thanks

Hi there,

Not my subject but a quick search on the Boots website found this:

"Total cholesterol/HDL cholesterol ratio
This is the total cholesterol divided by the HDL cholesterol.
Ideally the ratio should be 4.5 or less. "

Obviously, low is good and no doubt your GP would have told you if you had a problem. Looks ok, I would say.
