"Sense of Impending Doom" Fright

I was sat at the computer 10 mins ago when i was suddenly overcome by this strange sensation that could only be described as a "Sense of impending doom". It scared the life out of me when i found out it a symptom of heart problems and maybe even a heart attack!!

It's anxiety. I get this ALOT. It is awful and the only thing you can do is try and distract. This is possibly the worst side effect.

It is one of the main symptoms of anxiety and I often get it. My husband has had 2 heart attacks and that was not one of his symptoms and I think you would have more symptoms if it was. I am sure it is anxiety, try to relax and distract yourself:hugs:

It feels horrible doesn't it. It is definitely not heart attack, for that you can be sure but just the feeling in itself its a problem. When it happens to me I also have palpitations and maybe feeling tearful or a bit panicky. Hope you feel better soon!

To me this was THE anxiety feeling, the part just before the full blown panic attack.
Can't say I miss this one...
