Hi all.
Hope your all having a good day.

I was wondering if there was anyone who has had CBT and it has,nt worked. I read so many positive stories about it that i dont doubt its ability to help people but after 2 years of having it myself i,m not realy much better. Is it supposed to work for everyone or is it something to do with me:weep:. I would love to hear your expieriences of it and anyone who has tried alternative methods more helpfull. I,m also terrified to think that i have failed, i realy have tried hard and gave it my best shot.

It doesn't work for everybody ... I saw very limited progress with it, so my therapist is instead doing a mix of CBT with some other models ... mindfulness meditation, sometimes we do EMDR - I have had some trauma, medication, plain old talk therapy and it is helping me over time. It's mainly about finding what works for you.

It didn't work for me, I've been referred for psychotherapy, it's just a shame the waiting list is so long
