Diabetes??

Basically for the past week or so i have been feeling extremelly thirsty and no matter how much i drink (water) i still feel thirsty. I am also exhausted, no matter how much sleep i get i am still soooo tired!! I do have hypothyroidism and this can cause fatigue but i have been on meds for this since MAy. I feel awful!! I am worried i may have diabetes! But surely this would show up on my blood tests i have for hypothyroidism?? PLEASE i need advise on this xx

I believe they do a specific test for diabetes and it is usually a fasting one so may not show on normal blood tests.

There's a easy test for diabetes...fasting glucose test or glucose tolerance test.

A few months ago I was so scared about it, but after reading around there's no reason to fear it. It can be managed quite easily.

I'm fearing MS or BT now and being scared by diabetes looks so silly :(
