headache strange scratchy sensation in throat when swallowing

Have had a mild headache on right temple and behind right eye for a couple of weeks. Sometimes I feel sore in my right ear and my face flushes around the nose and cheeks. Dom't have a stuffy nose. When I swallow solids also feeling a scratchy sensation in my throat but does'nt feel like a sore throat. Have a phobia about doctors, petrified of them. Can someone help?:huh:

Sounds like it could be a sinus problem but it is only a doctor who can really diagnose you. Remember the doctor is there to help and reassure you :hugs:

It really does sound like sinus.
I can get all those symptoms without my nose being stuffy or blocked.
Pain when you bend down or stand up is a tell tale sign.
I noticed in Boots you can now get pure sea water sinus spray which could help, n maybe a medicated spray too and some throat sweets.
