Stabbing pain

For once this isn't for me, it's for my girlfriend. On Thursday she went out and had a big meal.

Later that night she had some stabbing pains on her left side and since Thursday she's had it on and off.

Unable to stand without it hurting and she's rather bloated.

It's not been everyday tho and mostly comes after eating.

Could this be ibs? I've said to her not to eat any wheat for the next few days.

I've said to go to the doc but she doesn't want to yet, but might if it's still happening by Wednesday.

Hi dann This could be ibs but you didn't mention about bowel movements...is she constipated? I ask this as it happened to me once and I had the worst pains ever, I ended up having to go to hospital as I was so worried about the pain. If it continues she will be best going to the doctor as he can usually tell by feeling the tummy area, were the problem is.

Her movements are bizarre, sometimes there just like pellets other times it's normal, which I think it has been.

I had stomach pains once do severe I went to hospital, it was just hard poop in the end.

Gf's problem is she never eats correctly, for lunch she'll have a banana and yoghurt and that's it.

Going to the gym tonight hopefully it'll move it about :)
