Hi.
I'v been taking Citalopram for a number of months now for an anxiety disorder. I'v recently read online that it should not be taken on empty stomach as it won't be as effective if you do so. Reading something like this can be distressing to someone with anxiety problems. Is there truth behind this claim or can I just take it soon as a wake up on a completely empty stomach and feel the full effects of the tablet? Is either way ( full or empty stomach) preferable to how effective the tablet will be ? Please put my mind at rest. Thank-you. Joseph.
