Just got a Kitten and feel Allergic..

Please someone tell me HA can pretent allergic symtoms such as a tight throught I was never allergic to cats and today i get a kitten i feel as if i have a dry throught and cough alot...I have hay fever but thats it..
When i tell myself that its only in my head i feel ok but the minute i think about it i feel ill lol :-) HA isnt it?

You'll be fine... And if you really need to, you can get an allergy test, that way no matter what thoughts you get, you know your not allergic.
And by the way, a kitten, how exciting!!

you could be allergic to anything ... i actually am allergic to my cat, didn't know until we got her because i started having a stuffy nose all the time. I manage it quite easily though with allergy medicine and just take an antihistamine every day.

I get really itchy eyes after coming in contact with cats.

If you can take an antihistamine tablet like Claritin n see if it makes a difference.
I know people who are alergic to my cat get itcy and their eyes get sore.
