Hi all
I'm really worried about cancer of the mouth as I get a few mouth ulcers from time to time, generally from biting my tongue when eating. Recently my tongue feels a little sore on one side. My GP seems to think it's from my teeth biting it or rubbing on it. I'm off to the dentists tomorrow although when he looked last time he said he couldn't see anything wrong. I'm wondering if I should see an ent specialist. I'm pretty scared about this.

I always bite the side of my tongue, and have this obsession with rubbing it against my teeth constantly which really aggravates it, it leaves my tongue feeling sore for weeks. Maybe it's the same thing doesn't sound like anything to concern about :)

They are a symptom of low B12.
Take some b12 and maybe rinse with warm salt water.

Thanks for that I'm trying not worry and might try the B12 tablet idea.
I've read that stress can cause mouth ulcers too so maybe it can cause soreness of the tongue as well.
