so sleepy

I am new here. Anixiety w/panic attacks began in 2004. Have had a long spell with very little anixiety. As of about a week now anixiety is everyday and I am so sleepy all the time like I am druged. Has anyone had sleepy spells and is this anixiety related. I know I get sleepy after a panic attack but I wake up sleepy and stay that way all day. Have tried meds., but at times have made panic attacks worse. Just got citalopram 10MG, but haven't taken any. Had such a bad exprence w/Prozac. I have not read anything here as of yet. Sorry all over the place. So sorry. Any help will be so appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi :welcome: My anxiety also started in 2004 and I have had a few anxiety free years but it came back again recently. I get very sleepy when I am anxious and often just want to hide in bed.

I would be hiding if I were not careing for my 4 yr old grandson while my daughter works. I do better when it is just me and him. when family comes home I really do go and hide. thanks
