Well done you :))))
I actually drove there went in and drove home, I was terrified, panic welling up and wanted to turn around but I had promised to take the kids to pick a new toy so not going wasn't an option, had to keep driving, but I did it. I am so proud of myself :) xxx

Well done you :) and on a busy Saturday.. thats brill! Have you rewarded yourself with a cream cake or something? x
Well done Laura :yesyes: I know exactly how you felt, I went to a shopping centre with my mum on Wednedsay, first time in nearly a year, was bricking it!! It's a great feeling when we push ourselves to achieve something that causes so much anxiety.
You should be very proud of yourself :hugs:

I went to Asda today too, incidentally. It seems to be the supermarket of choice for NMP'ers :)

Well do to you - great achievement :yesyes::yahoo:
I have been very anxious all afternoon after facing my fear, I felt quite down and a but sort of, oh god this is going to take forever to feel normal and calm doing everyday stuff, but tonight after some thought I guess that to get rid if the fear the only option really is to face it and the more you expose yourself to that fear the more you will learn it is not a real fear. Feel very brave at home saying this, different laura when she is in the car driving lol. Tomorrow I am going to visit gran in hospital, 2 hour drive but hubby and kids coming and he will drive do not do bad but I still have to go into the visit and then to visit some family, another brave day, but I just need to get on with it and allow whatever feelings come to just be there. Wish me luck, I can't sit in this house any longer :) x
I hope tomorrow goes well for you tomorrow Laura and hope you Gran will be better and able to go home soon :hugs:
Thank you Annie I hope tomorrow is a better day for you too Hun x
Will be sending you good vibes tomorrow Laura! Keep reminding yourself of what you said above, because I think you're spot on there :)
I did it again :) I went all the way to hospital, then visited my sister, then dinner at dads, been out all day, it was great, I am feeling much more positive, I can totally do this! It's not easy, but the only thing holding me back is me! Xx
well done Laura! :yahoo: I made it to the opticians...a bit scary but I got through it. Have felt a little uneasy all day but not too bad.

Well done Laura and Annie, you've both done so so well:yahoo::yahoo::yahoo:
We all know how difficult those first steps are so happy days ahead now, take one day at a time and you can't go wrong.
