What can eye tests find?

I recently had an eye test where my optometrist told me that my eyes were pretty much healthy and in shape, and that I was a little near-sighted. I was just wondering what conditions can be discovered through eye tests?

I'm terrified I'm going to have a brain aneurysm. :scared10:

They can pick up lots but they are not brain surgeons.

Depends what tests you had done.
The blowing a puff if air into your eye detects glacoma,
The visual field test.
Then looking into your eyes they can see if there's any damage, they can even spot brain tumours : )
