I have been having urine problems for a while now. I got a urine sample from the doctors and weed into it then took it back.
I just had a call asking me to do a repeat sample but no explanation as to why?! Please help, if anyone has had the same issue?
I'm so scared that they have found something dreadful and are checking it.
:'( :'(

They may have given you the wrong pot (some have powder in, some don't, some tests need powder and some don't), the person at the lab could have dropped your wee on the floor, the doctor could have lost it, it might have got contaminated somewhere along the line and needed to be retested, maybe you didn't do enough wee...etc etc a trillion non-scary reasons they need another sample :)

Stop fretting. The sample was probably stale or lost or they need a fresher one.
Urine tests show indicators of blood, protein etc.
I'm sure if they wanted more tests it would be blood tests.
Just drop off a new sample, they may have lost your original one.
Please don't stress babe x

I have had this before and agree with Sophie - there are any number of reasons that are non-sinsiter.

I did spill some of the powder down the toilet when I went, could this be the reason?

We will never know to be honest but I wouldn't worry about it for now

Could they call me back for any other reason (a bad one that is)

If they thought there was something sinister the likelihood is that they would call you in for an appointment to discuss the results with you. That is what happened with a blood test my dad had recently.

I agree with the others - it's most likely to be a clerical error or something.

One of my samples was not acepted because I did not include my Christian name along with my surname on the label of the bottle.

It means just a routine urine test and nothing specific.

My mum has had to redo urine samples, like said it can go off or test inconclusive, so needs redoing...
