Propranolol and magnesium

Ive been reading alot about magnesium and how its good for anxiety and a healthy heart rhythm so I'm going to give it a go.
I take propranolol 20-30mg a day, will it be ok to take magnesium with this?
Im very weary of mixing tablets and get terrified of side effects!

Emma,
It's really best to ask your gp if you can take magnesium with your meds.
Does not suit everyone and they a a bit expensive.
I have taken magnesium for about 4 days now and have stopped as I thought it
best to see my gp to ask first.
