Hi all,
I posted another thread on my possible trigger but I have some other possibilities id like to explore.
In 2009 I hurt my back in the gym and fast forward to now and im in the last fortnight of a subsitute programme due to my addiction to painkillers. I was addicted to codeine.
Like all opiates they stimulate the brain to produce more serotonin, however, is it possible that I was taking so much my brain stopped producing it naturally and this is a possible cause of my anxiety and panic attacks perhaps?
Also the subsitute im on is called buprenorphine, 4 x stronger than morphine. Could this med perhaps cause anxiety? The addiction dr's all say no but theres differing opinions online.
Has anyone else had any similar experiences?
thanks in advance,
Aaron
