Pulsating black patches in vision when coughing.

When coughing I see black patches that seem to pulse with my cough. Is this serious?

I don't think so. I have them too sometimes, and also I see my heart pulse in my eyes when it's beating fast! I told my eye doctor 3 weeks ago and he wasn't impressed. I'm taking a supplement for the vitreous, maybe it'd help you too? I have some problems (benign, not pathologies) due to the vitreous getting denser (along with anxiety causing dryness, etc). Seems that drinking much water helps too.

hiya, i used to get what you describe all the time, apparantly its due to tension, which anxiety causes, it will settle down :)
