Panicking - eaten weird smelling/tasting chicken

I ate half a chicken wrap for lunch and the chicken in it smelt a bit weird and had a strange taste. It wasn't a horrible smell or taste, just a weird one. I have a very sensitive stomach at the moment as I am suffering from an IBS and GERD flare up. I binned the rest of the sandwich and then had some golden veg soup and an actimel. I am so scared I am going to get sick from the chicken. I had some of it yesterday and it tasted a bit weird. I felt ok just had D this afternoon but I think that was more IBS related.

I now having some burning in the stomach most likely because of GERD as there were onions in the soup I think. But I am also worried about taking some gaviscon incase the reduced stomach acid means I do get sick from the chicken. But I really need to take the gaviscon as it is burning!

If you were going to get sick from the chicken it would have happened instantly ! You are absolutely fine and not having a bad reaction to it most likely.

With food poisoning you would have been sick as a dog by the next morning!
I'm talking can't get out of bed, have to call the doctor sick.
Ya I've had it.
So since its been a day I can promise you're not going to be sick from it!
