Propranolol doesnt stop palpitations?

I have been taking 10mg of propranolol for years now, 3 times a day. I have read a few stories that it stops palpitations. Its never done that for me. It helps with the panic and racing heart, but I still get skipped beats n such. Is this not normal?

I take the same dosage as you Emma . Skipped beats of the heart is listed as one of many anxiety symptoms and the more you focus on it the more frequent they can become.

palpitations and racing heart are more or less the same thing ( I think)

10 mg is quite a low dose, i have been taking 40mg 3 times a day for about 15 years or so, and it has never eliminated my palpatations, but it has greatly reduced them.
