Need some support..Scan tomorrow

I could do with some hugs right now. Tomorrow I am going for a scan on my testicle. I had a lump removed from it back in 1997 and it has come back with a vengeance. I can hardly walk and it is so big it is causing constant panic attacks and worry. Tomorrow I go for the scan and I have already had two severe panic attacks today thinking about it.

Thanks Annie. The reality and anxiety is already kicking in. Just took 5mg Diazepam to calm my nerves. I'll be an emotional and psychical wreck come tomorrow morning.

Try to think positive Edward, I know it isn't easy but it may not be as bad as you think. Have a bath with lavender oil in and put some relaxing music on. What time is your appointment tomorrow?

That's just it Annie. I'm terrified of bathing and showering and looking at the testicle hanging down way further than it should. I just can't touch my body anymore :weep:

I suffered what must have been the biggest panic attack I have ever experienced. Thank god for Mark. He was an angel calming me down. Went to A&E and all they said was that I was an hysterical mess.

Pip, it's Testicular Atrophy and not Cancer. I am delighted and anxiety free for the first time in nearly a week. I feel so happy and relieved that evrything is ok :)
