This is something I have never had so I'm not sure what could cause this. My son has told me he's been having green bowel movements. He has had nothing green to eat, the only thing he's been eating like crazy is oranges, he's had like a dozen in two days! He said that he does have dioreah as well. Has this happened to anyone else before? And what was it caused by? He doesn't have it every time he said.

bile makes its way through to the small intestine and then to the large intestine via the bile ducts, and changes color from green to yellow to brown, due to the action of bacteria in the large intestine on the bile salts.
Green stool often indicates that food has passed through the intestines faster than normal, before it could be changed from green to brown.
Diarrhea decreases bowel transit time, so any condition that causes diarrhea can result in green stool. I hope this helps.

I'd guess the massive amount of fruit he ate is what caused the diarrhoea, that's a lot of oranges!!!
